At the world’s most important plastics trade fair “K 2016” in Düsseldorf, Exipnos owner Peter Putsch is showing his support for POLYKUM eV . One month earlier, the members of the Central German Association for the Promotion of Polymer Development and Plastics Technology had elected the entrepreneur as Managing Director.
Düsseldorf, October 24, 2016. On Monday, Saxony-Anhalt’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Jörg Felgner, visited the POLYKUM eV booth at the leading trade fair, which takes place only every three years (photo). “The plastics industry has a long tradition in Saxony-Anhalt and, with more than 100 companies, almost 10,000 employees, and an annual turnover of 3.2 billion euros, it is a major player,” the politician emphasized. He praised the industry’s exceptional innovative potential as the key to its success.
Peter Putsch noted in numerous conversations during the trade fair that this was also attracting attention outside of Central Germany. The spectrum of visitors ranged “from product developers seeking concrete solutions to young academics or recent graduates who had completed their training in other parts of Germany or the world and were now specifically inquiring about employment opportunities in the region,” the POLYKUM board member summarized his impressions.
